The pneumatic actuators have a dual piston rack and pinion design for compact construction, fast operation, modular pre-loaded spring cartridge design for spring return type, common end caps for Double Acting and Spring Return, easy install and maintenance.Spring Return is for fail-safe applications(“Fail-Open”or“Fail-Close” ). Double Acting actuators can be used for a “Fail-In-Last-Position” safety function.

RA-series rack and pinion actuators are available for a wide range of advanced applications. Corrosion resistant hard-anodized aluminum finish body and caps (nickel plated and PTFE infused options), substantial pinion bearings, stainless steel fasteners, resulting in a long lasting durable actuator design for high performance in On/Off applications industries such as natural gas, petroleum, chemical fertilizers, metallurgy, mining, electric power, paper making, printing and dyeing, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, water supply and drainage, air treatment and heating etc.

Extruded aluminum ASTM6005 body with both internal and external corrosion protection having honed cylinder surface for longer lie and low coefficient of friction.

Dual piston rack and pinion design for compact construction, symmetric mounting position, high-cycle life and fast operation, reverse rotation can be accomplished in the field by simply inverting the pistons.

Multiple bearings and guides on racks and pistons, Iow friction, high cycle life and prevent shaft blowout.

Modular preloaded spring cartridge design, with coated spring for simple versatile range,greater safely and corrosion resistance, longer cycle life.

Fully machined teeth on piston and pinion for accurate low backlash rack and pinion engagement, maximum efficiency.Stainless steel fasteners for long term corrosion resistance.

Full conformance to the latest specifications: ISO5211, DIN 3337 and Namur or product interchangeability and easy mounting of solenoids, limit switches and other accessories.
